me and my wife are going to her best freinds 40th birthday party on saturday after noon it will be held in my wifes freinds sisters backyard my wife wants to buy something new to wear to the party and new shoes but has no idear what to wear or what to buy so any help would be greatMy wife needs advice on what to wear?

A wraparound jersey dress works for many body types, try a solid color and punch it up with some fantastic bangles and a great necklace or a high waisted shift dress in a bold color and then u only need a few accessories, or a kelly green


V-neck top with three-quarter sleeves and white straight leg pant or a gaucho pant which reaches right below the knee, compliment it with a T-strap espadrille shoe. She'll be the fashion princess of the party!
She could wear a nice summer pants suit.( Light Color) Or she could wear a sun dress.Either would be nice with sandals. Anything more glamorous would be out of the question. Unless the invitation states 'Formal' Go casual, but elegant. Even a hat would be appropriate to block the sun. Also purse should match hat and shoes. They should gear toward the summer look.


Example: Linen, or Cotton, with Straw Hat and purse, but elegant in style. Hope this helps. Enjoy the day.

She can pair it off with a white (or black) cardigan.
It is summer and it's a backyard so a nice sundress or summer dress will go nicely with wedges that match. That is of course if she likes heels. She can always opt out for nice, matching sandals.

Watch TLC's what not to wear and they have outfits that you can see and get an idea of what she can wear. Its a really good show too.
Get a summer dress, they are every where. Or if it's more casual, wear nice half jeans and a flowy top. Basicially anything u can find in name brand stores right now.
For out doors, you can wear a flowery dress, for shoes any kind that has flat heals.
A summer dress or a babydoll dress with flats, flip flops, or if she is good with heels she could wear some wedges. Remember that bright colors are in this season!
