Well a little more description would be nice. I dont know where you live, but furry/fuzzy spiders are not unusual. I am also not aware of any specific markings that I.D. a tarantula. (red hourglass for black widow)
I live in California and have seen numerous furry spiders in my area. All are of course much smaller than a tarantula. Odds are you eight legged friend is not venemous. But if it concerns you.. go ahead and buy a bug book or look him up on the internet.Me and my wife saw this spider and was wonder if it is in fact a tarantula? Advice would be helpful...?
This is a great spider identification chart that is free and easy to use : http://www.termite.com/spider-identifica鈥?/a>
However it does not have tarantula, so check this site. Its entitled ';So you found a tarantula';. http://www.atshq.org/articles/found.html
If you see the spider again and get the chance to take a picture you can email it to : nlriggs92@yahoo.com and he will take a look and can help identify it.
Good luck!
