Need advice, my Wife asked for separation . I am no longer living at home but responsible for bills ,what now?

Help, what happens if I can't maintain 2 homes?, she has asked for separation , what am I responsible for, she is unable to work right now which complicates everything . if she files divorce papers what will I have to pay ? Will they back date bills ? I hate to commit and get a place and then get slammed with bills I can't pay and lose my new home/apt?? Help. Kiss up to her, make up with her, and get her to move with you to Texas. After you've resided there for a year then file. There's no alimony in Texas, so she gets half, you get half, end of story.

If she moves out..what ever see buys after she moves out is her financial responsiblity.
If the split is really serious and not just 'breathing space', you would be well advised to seek legal advice, with a view to making it' legal'.


But be careful. Once these guys get involved, it becomes nasty and you will stand a lesser chance reconciliation, if that is what you are hoping for. Good luck. But you really do need to clarify the situation with your wife.
I'm not sure what state you're in, but in most states you're about to get the shock of your life no matter who was at fault. Keep up with every bill you pay and keep receipts. Also keep bank records, deposits and withdrawals. Keep up with what your expenses are while living outside the house and most of all,,,find a $@^^^^ good lawyer. Preferably, one that has been divorced.
